NordNet Registrar Procedure to lock, unlock, and manage the transfer of your domain names


To transfer a domain name registered with NordNet Registrar to another Registrar,
you must first remove its LOCK status, set by default for all domain names we register.

To remove the LOCK status, use the following link: Unlocking/locking a domain name (in the menu on the right-hand side of this page).
After unlocking the domain name, you must apply the transfer procedure of the future Registrar of the domain name.

The permission of the ownerThe domain name owner is the legal or natural person in whose name the domain is registered. This is therefore the 'owner' of the domain name for the chosen registration period. and/or the administrative contactThe administrative contact is the person who represents the domain name owner. His or her job is to express the owner's wishes concerning any action applied to the domain name. The administrative contact must be consulted (via e-mail) about any request to modify information concerning the domain name. of the domain name will be required for the future Registrar to initiate the transfer request. On receipt of the transfer request from the future Registrar, we will send notification to the owner and administrative contact of the domain name.

Warning:
- A .biz, .com, .mobi, .info, .net, .org, .asia, .tel domain name cannot be transferred to another Registrar within 60 days after its creation.

- Similarly, a minimum period of 60 days is required between two transfers, except in case of an initial return to the original Registrar following an agreement between the two Registrars or following a decision made in the framework of a dispute resolution procedure.
